Pizza by the slice is the original beach day grab and go meal. After a day of sand, surf and sun, there are several food stands ready to take your order in Old Orchard Beach.

Rocco’s is one of the mainstays on Old Orchard Street, located at the corner of Old Orchard Street and West Grand Avenue in downtown Old Orchard Beach. The popular pizza stand opened today, April 4 for the season. Spring hours are 11 a.m. – 7p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday.

Ice cream always pairs well with pizza. After you’ve eaten your slice, head on over to Saco Scoop, 209 Main St., Saco for a cold creamy treat, and bring along a non-perishable food item. Saco Scoop is hosting a food drive through the month of April for Youth Full Maine, a non-profit that serves youth and families in York County. Donate a non-perishable food item and receive 20 percent off your ice cream or drink at Saco Scoop.
