The Pint and Pawn in Biddeford will be closing this month.

The Pint and Pawn, located at 28 Pearl St. is a board game lounge, where patrons can enjoy a beer, glass of wine, or cup of coffee and snacks while playing board games from the lounge’s extensive selection.

The board game lounge’s last day will be Nov. 23, and the hours that day will be noon to 9 p.m.

Owner Derek Laplume made an announcement in a video posted to social media a few weeks ago.

“The Pint and Pawn opened last year with the idea that we all need a comfortable place to gather and play. In it’s time, it’s been just that for so many people, and I have been truly blessed to watch countless friendships blossom and flourish in this space. Unfortunately, the challenges have become too great, and I have made the difficult decision to close shop at the end of November,” said Laplume in the video.

Laplume is also clearing out the lounge’s collection of games, and is selling used board games until the closing.
