Local Flavor: Mulligan's rolls out $4.99 menu

For years, Mulligan's, 23 Lincoln St., Biddeford was known for charging $5 or less for all items on the menu.

Well, nothing lasts forever, and in recent years, like everywhere else, the prices increased.

Now there’s good news for those of us on a budget or those who like to wax nostalgic of the good old days, when a five-dollar bill in your wallet meant you could buy lunch.

Mulligan's has introduced a special $4.99 menu. The restaurant will still serve its regular menu, but will also have a list of items that are just $4.99.

“We know that $4.99 items made us famous, so we're bringing back that price! Starting MONDAY, 9/22, we are introducing our new $4.99 Menu! It will be offered every darn day we're open - during our normal kitchen hours,” posted Mulligan's on Facebook.

The $4.99 menu includes chowder, garden salad, and a BLT, hotdog or clam cake served with French fries or coleslaw. Items will be served as described on the menu – no substitutions.
