Mulliga's has announced that it is closing the restaurant portion of its business, but the bar will remain open.
Mulligan's has been a popular downtown establishment in Biddeford for decades. Located in a former mill building at 23 Lincoln St., Mulligan's was known for its budget-friendly menu. The late George Sharkey, who died in 2017, opened the restaurant in 1997 with menu items for $5 or less.
Over time menu prices have increased, and in September 2025 a $4.99 menu was introduced as a nod to the restaurant’s roots.
Mulligan's announced today, Jan. 2, another change. In Facebook post, management said that while the bar will remain open, the kitchen has closed. There will be ready-made meal items available - $4 pizza slices and $5 Italians, and potato chips will be available for $1.
