Local Flavor: Hillview Market in Saco sold

It looks like a neighborhood market in Saco will open again under new ownership.

After a sudden closure in December 2024, the Hillview Market building at 21 Buxton Road in Saco has sat empty. However, that could change in the future, and people in the area may once again have a hub to grab a quick meal, cup of coffee or snack.

Local realtor Kayla Whitney Ross with Kennebunk Beach Realty posted on Facebook on March 27 that the Hillview Market building had been sold. The nearly 2600 square foot building is located on .74 acres, according to the social media post.

According to a comment from Ross on the post, the building has been sold to “a wonderful family” and it will still operate as Hillview Market.

“Wishing the new owners continued success in all that’s ahead. You should check out their new space for a deli sandwich, a cold drink or a lottery ticket,” said Ross on the Facebook post.
