Local Flavor: Community dinner to feature Voices in Harmony founder

This month, some of us have had our schedules disrupted due to snow cancellations. Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference Center’s Feb.6 community dinner was postponed, and is now scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The monthly dinners at 5 Boardwalk Drive, Saco, are a time to eat some good food, connect with friends or meet new friends, and learn about interesting topics from featured guest speakers.

This month’s featured guest speaker will be Camille Saucier. In 2001, Saucier launched Voices in Harmony, a community choral program in Saco, creating opportunities for people of all ages to come together through song. Her journey reveals how music fosters unity among singers and forges connections among individuals who might never have otherwise crossed paths. For the past four years, Saucier has also led the 115-voice Portland Community Chorus, bringing her passion for music to even larger audiences.

The menu offers a variety of options for appetizers, entrees and dessert and can be found, along with ticket information, on the Ferry Beach website.
