Celebrating Music in the Park’s 15th anniversary, Heart of Biddeford invites residents and visitors to enjoy downtown Biddeford with a free, family-friendly concert series held in Mechanics Park. Occurring on Wednesday evenings from June 24 through Aug, 5, this free community event combines live music, a vibrant farmers’ market, and local food for an unforgettable summer experience by the river. The community is encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and buy dinner from a local business.
While the concerts are from 6-7:30 p.m. each Wednesday, the Biddeford Public Market starts in the afternoon at 4:30 p.m., with fresh produce, handmade goods, and products from local farmers and artisans. Additionally, Brickyard Hollow will have pizza delivery available from 5-7 p.m.
Read more below about the 2026 Music in the Park lineup:
June 24
- Kind Kids and Duquette. The season opens with a kid-friendly performance from the Kind Kids duo followed by the band Duquette, whose original music features Rob Duqette on drums/guitar/vocals. He’s joined by legendary John Kumnick on Bass, and world-renowned guitarist/recording artist Randy Roos, with Amanda Duquette’s backing vocals.
July 1
- The Biddeford Beat & Sparrow. The evening begins with The Biddeford Beat – a Maine-based band playing folk rock, country, and soft jazz – performing music inspired by the song crafters of the 60s and 70s. Sparrow (best described as fun, fervent, and a little fierce) holds the spotlight for the second half of the evening, playing “chamber-folk” tunes, originals, and covers.
July 8
- Sugar Hill String Band. Sugar Hill String Band is a high-energy, Portland-based acoustic duo playing Celtic, bluegrass, old-time, and early country music. Expect to hear upbeat banjo/fiddle tunes, lonesome Appalachian ballads, tight bluegrass harmony singing, and jigs and reels from throughout the Celtic world.
July 15
- Mike Maurice Duo. Maine-based artist Mike Maurice brings together the emotional honesty of folk and the dynamic sweep of modern indie songwriting. The duo’s music lives in contrast — tender yet powerful, with lyrical writing that's both introspective and deeply relatable.
July 22
- Autumn Chamberlain Duo. Singer-songwriter, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Autumn Chamberlain brings a unique blend of piano, guitar, and powerful vocals to the stage. Her thoughtful songwriting and natural approach to pop music create an engaging and authentic performance.
July 29
- The Delta Knights Band. Bringing a mix of Blues and R&B to the stage, the Delta Knights Band delivers a crowd-pleasing performance.
August 5
- Louisa Stancioff. A crowd favorite at HOB’s 2025 River Jam Festival, Louisa Stancioff has a sound that blends indie folk and rock. The duo delivers a distinctive and compelling live performance.
