SACO —  County Commissioner Justin Chenette has launched a number of new constituent services for county residents in the area.

This includes a new district website at CommissionerChenette.com, where residents can find information about county departments, duties and responsibilities of commissioners, and the latest updates on agendas, minutes, and recaps. Community members can also sign up for a monthly email newsletter.

Annual town reports for each of the towns in the district, Saco, Old Orchard Beach, Hollis, and Buxton will now include a letter from Chenette, which typically hasn’t featured county officials in the past.

In addition, Chenette will be hosting virtual monthly office hours, the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., open to anyone in the district who has questions or suggestions on county business. You can register for the ZOOM link on the website.

“This is what true accessibility looks like and what you deserve from your elected officials,” says Commissioner Chenette. “My hope is for you to always know what is happening at the county level and more importantly, provide you with the information you need to make your voice heard.”

Frequent updates and videos will also continue being posted on social media: Facebook.com/JustinChenette.

Chenette is the vice chair of the commission, serves as the county rep on the Southern Maine Planning & Development Commission, and can be reached at [email protected].
