Chick Fil-A officials are not confirming a new Biddeford restaurant

While rumors are buzzing that Chick Fil-A is opening a restaurant at Biddeford Crossing, the fast food restaurant chain will not confirm that it is opening a Biddeford location.

The Shops at Biddeford Crossing is a multi-tiered shopping center at Mariner Way off of Alfred Street in Biddeford. DSM Realty published a property map of the shopping center on its website that shows a future Chick Fil-A across the parking lot from Michael’s craft store. DSM Realty is a division of Demoulas Super Markets which develops and manages Market Basket shopping centers.

However, officials at Chick Fil-A fast are not verifying a new Biddeford restaurant at this time. When asked about a potential restaurant in Biddeford, Chick Fil-A, Inc gave a brief email statement through a spokesperson.

“We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new Guests great food with remarkable service. While we hope to serve the Biddeford community in the future, we do not currently have any locations to confirm,” said Chick Fil-A, Inc. in the statement.

Chick Fil-A currently has two restaurants in Maine – one in Westbrook and one in Bangor.
