Ziggi’s Coffee will be opening its first Maine coffee shop in Saco next week.

The Colorado-based franchise announced it will open its drive-thru location at 3 Waterfall Drive on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The 865 square-foot coffee shop, which has frontage along Route One, will have both drive-thru and walk-up windows, according to a press release from the franchise.

“We are excited to bring the Ziggi’s Coffee experience to the great state of Maine as we continue to expand our footprint,” said Brandon Knudsen, Ziggi’s Coffee Co-Founder and CEO in a written statement.

Ziggi’s beverage menu includes specialty coffee chai and tea drinks, as well as energy drinks, smoothies and Italian sodas.  The coffee shop also serves food items like breakfast sandwiches, burritos, paninis, cinnamon rolls, scones, cookies and cake pops.

Ziggi’s Coffee in Saco will be open 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday., according to the press release.

Ziggi’s Coffee was founded in 2004 in Longmont, Colorado. Ziggi’s Coffee currently has 84 locations open across 18 states, and more than 200 locations in various stages of development, with 50 slated to open within the next year, according to the press release.
