BIDDEFORD — A portion of the RiverWalk has been blocked off after damage occured from the weekend storm.
The RiverWalk is an urban pedestrian trail highlighting the downtowns and the Saco River in Saco and Biddeford.
Over the weekend, a section of the RiverWalk along the Saco River near the North Dam Mill building in Biddeford washed way in the storm.

The City of Biddeford has blocked off a section of the trail where the damage occurred and is asking pedestrians not to cross the barriers to the closed off section.
Other areas of the RiverWalk, including the pedestrian bridge that connects the two cities, are open.
