OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The New England Brass Band and the Salvation Army Old Orchard Beach Corps Band will be playing together at a concert at the Old Orchard Beach Salvation Army on Sunday, May 7.

The concert will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Old Orchard Beach Salvation Army, located at 2 Sixth St., Old Orchard Beach. Terry Everson will be conducting the New England Brass Band and John Ferreira will be conducting the Old Orchard Beach Salvation Army Corps Band. The concert is free, and donations will be accepted. All are welcome to come for an afternoon of fun and fabulous music, soloists, and camaraderie.

 

The New England Brass Band is a 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble based in the Boston area. It was founded in 1988 and became incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1998. The mission of the New England Brass Band is to create a challenging environment for accomplished musicians, to celebrate and preserve the unique British Brass Band sound, and to share the results of the band’s passion with the community through performances, education, and outreach.
