Old Orchard Beach Trolley season has begun
OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Biddeford Saco Old Orchard Beach Transit has announced that Trolley service has begun.
The Trolley run features buses that are replicas of trolleys and takes passengers to and from campgrounds, hotels, the beach and other destinations in Old Orchard Beach, Saco and the Pine Point area of Scarborough.
In 2019, 144,000 passengers rode the BSOOB Trolley.
The 2020 Trolley season will take place from June 19 to Labor day, with buses running daily from 10 a.m. to midnight.
Bus riders must wear face masks and enter and exit through the rear door. After June 28, riders will enter in the front door and will be encouraged to exit through the rear door.
Passengers must maintain social distancing while on board, sit in designated seats and limit all contact with driver.
No fares will be charged until June 28, at which time BSOOB will charge $2 for all Trolley riders over 5 years old.
