Old Orchard Beach Salvation Army serving free community dinner
Want to enjoy a freshly prepared holiday meal and enjoy the company of your friends and neighbors? There’s a seat at the table for you and your loved ones at the Old Orchard Beach Salvation Army’s Community Dinner.
The community dinner will be held from 4 – 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22, at the Salvation Army, 2 Sixth St., Old Orchard Beach. There is no charge for this free meal and all are welcome.
The meal will feature roast pork tenderloin, accompanied by mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, apple sauce and a dinner roll served with butter. For dessert there will be a selection of assorted pies.
Dinner will be served at four seating times: 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Reservations are required and must be made by Monday, Dec. 18. Those interested can secure a dinner timeslot by calling 207-934-4381 or emailing Pearl.Asperschlager@use.salvationarmy.org.
