Local Flavor: Year round food stands and National Lobster Day

You can’t wish summer to never end, but you can get some of your summer-time food stand favorites all year.
Lisa’s Pizza, a downtown staple in Old Orchard Beach, has announced it will resume year-round hours after taking the past few winters off. Lisa’s Pizza is located at 17 Old Orchard St., right on the main strip in Old Orchard Beach.
The Hamburger Stand at 138 Elm St., Biddeford, has reported that after the success of last year’s winter, it will be open for winter again this year. As it gets colder, the Hamburger Stand will transition to online and call ahead orders or delivery through DoorDash and Grubhub.
National Lobster Day
Some people here in Maine celebrate lobster every day, but National Lobster Day is Sept. 25.
