Local Flavor: Restaurant openings in Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach

Twin City Diner is now open at 48 Alfred St. in downtown Biddeford, replacing the former Twin City Café.
The menu features classic diner breakfast and lunch items like eggs, pancakes, hamburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Breakfast options range from “The Biddeford” – a basic breakfast with two eggs, home fries, bacon and toast to the hefty “Biddeford Gut Omelet,” with ham, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onion, peppers, tomatoes and cheddar cheese and served with toast.
Old Orchard Beach
Berryfull recently opened at 5 Ocean Park Road in Old Orchard Beach.
The smoothie café, with another location in Sanford, has a full line of smoothies made with fruit, juices and other natural ingredients. It also serves acai and fruit bowls, as well as sandwiches and breakfast items like pancakes and French Toast
Ocean Perk, a relaxed little coffee shop just footsteps from the beach at 5 Temple Ave., Ocean Park, will reopen for the season this weekend. It’s been closed since late December.
