Local Flavor: Nano brewery in Lyman

And just like that, summer is almost over. It’s Labor Day weekend, and if you haven’t stopped by your favorite seasonal restaurant to grab a slice of pizza, some French fries or an ice cream, your days could be numbered.

Many seasonal food stands will soon be cutting their hours or closing for the year, so get that special treat while you still can.

New brewery in Lyman

On A Plain Brewing, 347 Hill Road, Lyman, is having a soft opening this weekend. On a Plain is described on its website as a “nano brewery” with 12 rotating taps. There is a bar inside as well as dog friendly and family friendly outdoor seating with picnic tables.

Brewery hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Food trucks will occasionally be on site, with Seacoast Roots Taquira scheduled to serve Mexican food this weekend.
