Are you craving a sweet, sticky, honey drenched piece of baklava like the one you got at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church’s Greek festival in July? If the answer is yes, you’re in luck.

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Saco is hosting a Greek Bazaar to go. Orders will be taken online through Nov. 13, and pick up for items is scheduled for Nov. 18 and 19.

The menu includes the always-popular baklava -flakey phyllo dough layered with walnuts, natural spices, and honey syrup and a variety of cookies, sweet breads and cake. There are a few savory items including pastitsio- a blend of pasta, ground meat, Romano cheese, spices, and a delicate bechamel sauce; and spanakopita, a spinach pie made with phyllo dough, feta cheese, herbs and butter. Some items sell out quickly, so reserve your favorite item before it becomes unavailable.

Biddeford Bakeoff
