For authentic Greek food, stop by the Saint Fontini Greek Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at St. Demetrios Church, 186 Bradley St. Saco.

Church parishioners are working hard, preparing savory dishes and an estimated 7,000 pastries made from recipes handed down over generations.

“We have a great comradery. Instead of knitting we come together to bake,” said parishioner Vanja Somerville.

Pastries, gyros, and coffee and other beverages will be available for purchase on the day of the event. There will also be a mini Greek market and a craft and jewelry table.

Frozen foods can be ordered now through Nov. 20 and picked up the day of the event. These items include entrees, appetizers and sweet bread.
