Local Flavor: Children's nutrition classes in Biddeford

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program and the Biddeford Recreation Department are hosting a free food and nutrition class for Biddeford students in grades six through eight. The six-session class will be held from 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. on Thursdays from Oct. 3 to Nov. 14 at the R. Martin Community Center, 189 Alfred St., Biddeford.
The class will cover topics like choosing healthy foods and food safety, and the interactive sessions will include plenty of  taste testing. To sign up, go to https://biddefordme.myrec.com/ .
