Lisa’s Pizza opened in February, marking the first seasonal food stand to open in downtown Old Orchard Beach this year.
Since then, a few other seasonal restaurants have opened in the region, and this week, Dickinson’s Candy Factory makes the list of venues open for the season in Old Orchard Beach.
While not a restaurant, Dickinson’s Candy is a popular spot to grab a snack or dessert. Located at 42 Old Orchard St. at the top of the hill in downtown Old Orchard Beach, Dickinson’s Candy has a delightful mix of products to satisfy any sweet tooth, including fresh made fudge, saltwater taffy and caramel corn; a whole rainbow of jelly bean flavors, chocolate confections, lollipops and hard candy, gummy candy and nostalgia items. If that's not enough, Dickinson's also has an ice cream parlor.
Dickinson’s Candy management announced on social media that it will be open this weekend, Friday through Sunday.
