History double feature set for Saturday at Biddeford's City Theater
BIDDEFORD — A double dose of history will be on the big screen at City Theater on Saturday evening.
The Biddeford Mills Museum is hosting a double feature of documentaries beginning at 7 p.m.
The first movie to be featured is “A Walk through History,” which tells the story of Biddeford’s mills, and the industrial revolution that brought them into being. The documentary was produced by Lone Spruce Creative in conjunction with the Biddeford Mills Museum.
The second movie screened will be “The Intersection,” the story of two very different French speakers in Lewiston.
After the films, there will be a panel discussion and question and answer session moderated by former Biddeford mayor and retired Maine District Court Judge Michael Cantara.
City Theater is located at 205 Main St., Biddeford. All seats for Saturday’s double feature are general admission. Tickets are $10, available in advance online at the museum’s website or on the day of the show at the theater.
The Biddeford Mills Museum, 2 Main St., Suite 18-108, documents and preserves historical and mill heritage in Biddeford and the surrounding area, and offers educational and community programs and events to the general public.
