State House District includes part of Biddeford, part of Kennebunk, and all of Kennebunkport.

Overall, Gere beat Jordan 3249 to 1917. In Biddeford, Gere beat Jordan 910 to 476. In Kennebunkport, she won 1475 to 923 and in Kennebunk, she won 864 to 518.

“As I always say, we’re the Coast with the Most, and I am humbled and grateful to be your Rep in Augusta,” said Gere in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning.

In the post, she thanked the constituents in her district and all those who supported her during her campaign.

“I’m excited to continue our work moving Maine forward – investing in education and opportunities for our people, getting assistance to those who need it, preserving and building attainable housing, making affordable healthcare available to all, funding our towns and schools, and growing our economy in a healthy, fair, and sustainable way. That’s what the people of District 134 have told me we need to do, and that’s what I’m committed to working for on your behalf,” said Gere.
