OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The warm summer night air will be filled with music as the Old Orchard Beach Recreation Department will once again be presenting its annual Concerts In The Ballpark series every Thursday evening starting this coming July 6 at the historic Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach with the only endorsed Aerosmith tribute band, Draw The Line.

Last year, thousands of fans attended shows throughout the summer as concerts returned every week to the Ballpark with national touring tribute acts bringing back memories of old and making new ones at the historic venue featuring music, food, raffles and fun.

According to OOB Recreation Director Jason Webber this year's series will be "better than ever" with a focus on rehabilitation of the former Triple AAA baseball stadium and multi-purpose facility, which was once described by Sports Illustrated as being one of the most beautiful ballparks in America.

Volunteer opportunities are available by calling Stephanie at 207-590-9223.

VIP seasonal passes can be picked up at the VIP gate and this year VIP will feature its own private beer line. No coolers or outside beverages are allowed and no tailgating.

Doors open at 5 p.m. on Thursdays and tickets are available at the main gate for $10. Proceeds benefit the OOB Recreation Department and its programs. The Ballpark is located behind both the Old Orchard Beach Police and Fire stations off of E. Emerson Cummings Boulevard.
