Climate Town Hall set for April 23 at Biddeford library

The Biddeford Saco Climate Action Team is hosting a Climate Town Hall on Tuesday, April 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the McArthur Public Library in Biddeford.

The event will begin with a panel presentation featuring climate scientists and local advocates. After the panel, attendees will be welcomed to share their own thoughts, concerns, and questions in a town hall format.

Panelists will include polar scientist Susan Hancock, local activist Loren McCready, and Maine State Coordinator for Citizens Climate Lobby Peter Dugas.

 

The town hall event is free and open to anyone who wishes to be part of the discussion and build community with people from the Biddeford and Saco area engaged in climate action. Light refreshments will be served. Special thanks to MacArthur Library, Elements Cafe, and Reilly's Bakery for supporting this event.

The McArthur Library is located at 270 Main St. in downtown Biddeford.
