OLD ORCHARD BEACH —The wait is almost over. Binga’s will open in Old Orchard Beach by next week.

The popular restaurant, known for its chicken wings and variety of barbecue sauces, has locations in Portland, Windham and Yarmouth.

Owner Michael Harris confirmed that the new Old Orchard Beach location will open "within the week," though he did not have a specific day targeted. The restaurant will be similar to the other Binga’s restaurants, with one distinction – it will only be open from fall to spring.

Harris also owns Myst – a seasonal restaurant in the Grand Victorian building near The Pier. Myst is open in the summer with menu items that include seafood dinners and frozen cocktails, and is closed in the winter. Binga’s will open in the Myst location next week and will remain open until late spring, when the space will again become home to Myst. Binga’s will reopen in the spot in the fall, when Myst closes for the season.

In addition to chicken wings, Binga’s menu will feature appetizers like French fries and pickle chips as well as salads, nachos, hamburgers and other sandwiches, and dinner entrees.
