Biddeford + Saco Chamber welcomes The Counseling Collective of Maine

The Biddeford + Saco Chamber of Commerce + Industry recently celebrated new member The Counseling Collective of Maine with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The ceremony, held June 25, was attended by staff of the counseling collective, friends and family, and Chamber members.

The Counseling Collective of Maine is located in a spacious office at 443 Main St., Biddeford. A wide range of services is offered at the collective, including counseling, perinatal therapy, expressive arts therapy, massage therapy, trauma-sensitive yoga, somatic coaching, craniosacral therapy, women’s wellness therapy, breath work, energy work, and breath and swallow therapy.

Erin Pontbriand, a licensed clinical professional counselor, opened The Counseling Collective of Maine in May. The staff at the collective work together to provide clients more informed and holistic care. 

“Our heart-centered providers offer a lot of services under one roof to remove barriers,” said Pontbriand.  “We want to empower people to live a wholehearted and more fulfilling life.”

Pontbriand and her team want every client to feel welcome, inviting them to come early or stay late and relax in the sitting area and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a snack.

“As soon as people walk in, my hope is that they feel relief, and when they are here they feel cared for,” said Pontbriand.
