The Biddeford Police Department received a report of a suspicious device near Jefferson Street this evening, Friday, Oct. 11, according to a Facebook post by the Biddeford Police Department.

The Biddeford Police Department, along with the Maine State Fire Marshal and Maine State Police Explosives Unit were on scene investigating this incident, said police in the social media post at 7 p.m. Friday.
