The Biddeford Cultural and Heritage Center is proud to announce the Biddeford Cultural and Heritage Center Hall of Fame Inductees for 2024, bringing attention to those who have made significant contributions to the city and/or to the world at large.

This year the ceremony will be held at noon on Oct. 19 at the Little Theater of Biddeford High School and is open to the public.

After the presentation, there will be a light luncheon for the honorees and their guests.

Banners honoring the five recipients will be placed on the light poles in downtown Biddeford for all to see and plaques will be added to the display of past recipients found in Council Chambers at Biddeford City Hall.

“The Hall of Fame recognizes remarkable individuals whose dedication has been instrumental in fostering the growth and well-being of Biddeford. Since its inception in 2018, our community effort has celebrated 31 exceptional people who have made a lasting difference,” said Chairperson Susan Deschambault.

The 2024 inductees will join this esteemed group, highlighting their invaluable contributions to Biddeford’s development and care.

“This is the seventh year of honoring our own and it’s humbling to realize what the people of our community have to offer and have done for so many of us. I am so happy we get to do this annually,” said Diane Cyr, BCHC President, “I am personally excited that, for the first time, all the inductees are living, and all but one will be able to attend the ceremony. It’s gratifying to see the joy and support of family and friends as they come together to celebrate with pride.”
